Over the years, Administrative Professionals Week has become one of the largest workplace observances. The event is celebrated worldwide, bringing together millions of people for community events, educational seminars and individual corporate activities recognizing administration managers and staff.
This year the Bahrain Association of Banks (BAB) organized an “Administrative Professional Day” luncheon on Wednesday, 21st April 2010, at Al Areen Palace & Spa. HR Managers, Training Managers, and Personal Assistants from the banking sector attended the luncheon.
Mr. Hussain Al Mahmood, Head of Training and Development, Human & Financial Resources Directorate, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs met with the financial sector business community representatives to discuss “Recruitment and layoffs under the global economic crises”
Mr. Robert Ainey – BAB CEO, thanked Hussain for his participation and said “We enjoy hosting this event as it pays recognition to the managers and staff in our member organizations who get things done. They recruit, motivate and discipline, develop training to raise staff skills and make sure the boss gets to where he’s supposed to be with the information he needs. Well done.”
